I did, nothing in spam. Like I never had tickets.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 9:11 amAlso, Check spam folder. A few years ago, I had issues with communications going to spam...the emails come to my inbox now. Other than me moving the communications from spam to inbox at time I was having issues, I did not do anything within my settings...and it corrected itself.

I get that. But that was single game. The price if you buy as individual games is substantially more due to supply and demand.biggie wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:59 amWhen I saw it I think it was just the price of regular season home games. I forgot where it was. I know that $100/seat for Liberty last year was way higher than any other SBC home game ticket.

If you don't care where you sit or if you can sit then get single game. Of course all single game are not the same price. I think Liberty was $100 but could be wrong. Here is the bottom line. If we want all these things we constantly ask for we need to pay for it. If we want to pay less we need to expect less.AppDawg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:33 amI sit in 204. $400/seat giving required + $280 season ticket. That works to $113/seat/game (6 home games).
This is compared to $450 if I purchased each game individually, $75/game on average.
For some (pending where sit), season ticket prices are similar to concert ticket prices. We even include a $30 handling fee. Looking at the math above, there is a financial incentive to purchase single game.
I would correct you on one item though. There is no handeling fee. That $30 is a " We think your stupid fee" just like car dealers and ticket dealers charge.

Here's some simple, back of the envelope, math. At 4.5% the interest payments for the indoor practice facility if we bond $16 million $720,000/year. The $50/year increase on 11,000 season tickets, raises $550,000. Who did you think was paying for the IPF (keep in mind, the increase doesn't even cover the bonded interest payments)?

Re: Season ticket prices went up
I’ve always been somewhat fascinated over price versus want/need as it pertains to certain things. For example I use cigarettes at an average of about $9 a pack. If tomorrow the price jumped to $15 how many smokers would quit? Same for beer. I recall years ago when the average price jumped pretty significantly. Did any beer drinkers quit in protest? Some commodities like gas probably aren’t good examples as we usually have no choice other than maybe cutting back on summer driving. That being said I switch to ticket prices and overall funding of our team sports and construction projects. Many of stated that they feel and admit to a certain price point that causes some to stop going to games. How many App fans would say screw it if ticket prices jumped to say, $80 a game?
Based on what I read in that email from DG it looks like smaller schools like App are going to really get squeezed by recent legislation-to the tune of $300k less in revenue starting next year (if I read correctly). In terms of full scholarships are we seriously going to fund 105 football and 35 baseball? How many players does each sport need? Paying a full ride for guys who won’t ever sniff playing time especially baseball where you don’t rotate position players hardly at all and where you use maybe 10 pitchers?

Parking options will also become more expensive. On field corporate sponsor logos are also coming. Inevitable.

I renewed mine and in the "notes" section I request to change (improve) my seat location and happy to discuss increasing my annual donation if needed. I also followed up with an email with the same message.

If you are truly interested. Why not just make a phone call? I know it's an antiquated form of communication, but it's still the most effective. I had great success calling in earlier this year. Plus, you might actually be able to discuss options, maybe even pick up one of those valuable "aisle" seats.

Looking at the new chart for 2025, it looks like Premium Parking isn’t considered a benefit for those below the $3k level. I guess they have more donors than spots to guarantee a spot.

They don’t process seat changes until after the renewal period closes so they know what is actually available and what isn’t.
