We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I hate the aisle seats. The constant getting up to let people in or out is annoying.

Where did you find a dealer that didn't charge junk fees?

Far and few between but they do exist and sometimes you just have to show them you are serious. They have to decide if they want you to buy or walk. I will say the vast majority will let you walk and that is ok. It is their business but not the only business.

I don't know if the increase was announced before now, but our 2024 season just ended two weeks ago, and deadline to renew is 3.5 months away. How much advance notice do people need?

Speaking of season tickets I miss the days of having a physical ticket.
I’d be willing to pay an extra -$25-50 to get physical tickets to keep as a collectible and not use at the gate. Use the proceeds towards NIL

I miss those too. The first season we got season tix as a family they screwed up and sent duplicates so I had the full sheets framed for each of the kids and me.HurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 12:56 pmSpeaking of season tickets I miss the days of having a physical ticket.

Re: Season ticket prices went up
A company like Walmart can operate like a business and treat customers as customers as they have millions buying stuff there. If they anger a few, they don't care.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 11:24 amI don't know if the increase was announced before now, but our 2024 season just ended two weeks ago, and deadline to renew is 3.5 months away. App State only has 11,000 season ticket holders, and less than that who foot the bill for those tickets. Yes, there's a waiting list, but do this enough times and that goes away. Many want to shake hands and feel a part of the family. You can't treat season ticket holders strictly as customers.
Other athletic programs have announced football ticket price hikes well in advance, meeting with alumni groups and holding meetings.
I doubt these decisions were made in the last 2 weeks. And again, it's not about the increase itself. It's about the lack of communication before going "hey, you're paying $60 per ticket more than last year, which card do you want to use?"

The lack of Communication has been around for more than 30 years. Get on board it’s not changing. We’re paying more for everything embrace it or do something about it. We’re all poor because of it.T-Dog wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 11:53 pmA company like Walmart can operate like a business and treat customers as customers as they have millions buying stuff there. Re: Season ticket prices went up
Same here. I have a bunch of old tickets saved, including displays for some big games. Have the tickets from the first four bowl games I attended (Montgomery and New Orleans x2 each) that I'm going to get framed one of these days. Sucks to not have that option any more.HurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 12:56 pmSpeaking of season tickets I miss the days of having a physical ticket.

And if they do offer the option - advertise it. Don't make me go out of my way to call, because then it's probably not going to happen.

Re: Season ticket prices went up
They do offer the printed ticket option. I was having issues with the mobile app and couldn't get my tickets moved to my wallet (issues even getting logged into my account). The ticket office told me I could get printed tickets next year if I wanted.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 11:35 amSame here. They are now print at home tickets from your home computer not real tickets. I always got the printed tickets and they went to the print at home last year.AppState89 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 9:36 amThey do offer the printed ticket option. You are correct. That's what I meant to say. Print at home. Thank you for correcting me and making it clear to others.postalapp90 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 9:53 amThey are now print at home tickets from your home computer not real tickets. Re: Season ticket prices went up
At least most of you got a notice. If I had not read this threat, I would have not known that the notice had gone out. I have been a season ticket holder for years and never received a thing. Wonder how many other people were missed.

It is hard to believe how these kinds of things continue over the years.

Also, Check spam folder. A few years ago, I had issues with communications going to spam...the emails come to my inbox now. Other than me moving the communications from spam to inbox at time I was having issues, I did not do anything within my settings...and it corrected itself.
