They hired a quality proven FCS coach and he recruited well including efficient use of the TP. They run a tight ship up there.

ULM is 4-1 with its only loss to No. 1 Texas. Yeah their schedule besides JMU hasn't been that tough, but still that's incredible for ULM with a new head coach.

They've done what App did in 2019 by hiring Drink after Satt left. It's possible to continue successfully after changing coaches, it just doesn't happen often. The opposite of this is Troy this year.
