We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. NIL the way it was meant to be
The Iowa Pork Council signed an NIL deal with four Iowa St. players for National Pork Month. This is awesome!

But that begs the questions,.....whole hog or shoulders? Sliced or chopped? Vinegar or tomatoes with vinegar? I have more questions than answers, but I like the idea.

I’ll take this one, pulled, not chopped or sliced, shoulder, tomato with sweet heat.

My wife used to put A1 on my very well seasoned well prepared steaks. I cringed!

Hahaha! Exactly! When my wife and I go out for a steak and they ask if I want A-1 or Heinz 57. I reply if it's cooked right I won't need any!!Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 8:55 amMy wife used to put A1 on my very well seasoned well prepared steaks. I cringed!![]()

Re: NIL the way it was meant to be
I like it all but I go chopped, sliced then pulled as far as my preference. Probably because I really only get chopped when I am up in NC (except when I make my own), nobody in FL does it that way, it's all pulled or sliced down here. Prefer just a dry rub and no sauce.

I didn’t say ketchup. Sweet tomato based BBQ sauce with some heat.

Ketchup with pepper. I'm kidding of course. I prefer the vinegar base, and just stirring the BBQ pot.

I go straight up acetic acid. None of that kid's diluted vinegar.mike87 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 12:10 pmKetchup with pepper. I'm kidding of course. I prefer the vinegar base, and just stirring the BBQ pot.![]()

17.4 Molar or nothing for me. Anything less is for losers.mike87 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 1:14 pmI'm good with 4% but each his own.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2024 12:23 pmI go straight up acetic acid. None of that kid's diluted vinegar.

(Actually I used to like vinegar but have grown to not like it to the point I don't really care foe ENC style. It is pork BBQ so I eat it, but it is not my favorite.)
