BTW, do these games not count? Is it not the goal to have similar teams come to Boone? We have ECU and UNC coming. I think you can expect similar numbers. How about Marshall and UNCC? Think we will have less than 23k for those games? Hell, Elon will probably bring a few thousand. Don't be surprised if that game is north of 27k. It's time.
We averaged 24,894 in 2013 with a 4-8 1-AA team. If we draw 130,000 next year, that would be down 13% from 2013. I don't see that happening.
No doubt we will see a drop in our average next year, but we need to look beyond next year.
