Doesn't solve concerns above..but wonder if you all can buy from UNC ticket office. Have they communicated the game is "sold out".
Realize would not desire to go that route, however, at this point, gets you tickets.
***UNC single-game tickets go on public sale August 1.***

It has not been announced as a sellout, and their window for Rams Club single-game ticket requests has already closed.

That being said, they are currently running a "2 pack" deal for tickets to any two of Minnesota/Syracuse/Miami/Virginia, and they also had a July 4 sale of Miami tickets for $17.76. The fact that they aren't including App in any such promotions presumably indicates that there are fewer tickets available for our game than those others.
I believe that there is also a 3 pack ticket that includes App.
If so, I'd love you to send me the link.

Their ticket sales page currently shows the 2 pack and season tickets.

Tried purchasing 10 for ccu and 6 for USM. The system got stuck spinning and never finalized the purchase. In my infinite wisdom, I tried breaking up the purchases. I was able to complete the 10 ticket purchase but the system will not allow me to use the promotional code again to purchase the 6 for USM. FML
Because you are only allowed to purchase 10 total for home games.
Well that sucks! Thought it was up to 10 per game. Person who responded to my email didn’t mention me hitting a limit. Hope the USM game doesn’t sell out before next Wednesday.
It says it on the email sent out about the sale.
The limit is 10 per game. I was able to purchase 8 for Marshall and 6 for ECU.

Awesome! The email just said a limit or 10 for home games. Each away game said 8 per. Glad that you were able to get what you needed.

There isn’t a one way fits all solution. Going off current donor level upsets long term donors, (albeit lower amounts per annum). Using the point system discourages those larger donors and in turn reduces the revenue to YC.

It’s a slippery slope for sure, but if you are looking at it from the ADs perspective, they don’t need past dollars. They are operating in the now and preparing for the future. So if you can get some folks to increase donations to grab more perks at the risk of losing a smaller donor because they can’t or don’t want to keep up, (poor choice of words but relevant) then what do you do?
There is certainly not an easy answer, but:

1. Never trade loyalty for living in the “now”. Play the long game, not the short one. (NASCAR has made this mistake and they they are paying dearly with a loss of popularity and reducing grandstand capacity by more than half of peak capacities).
2. With that said, you can reward loyalty and, still have some short term perks (it doesn’t have to be binary). I have zero issue with larger donors and those with more Priority Points having first option. But, as someone else posted, the limits of 10/8 are very high and limit the amount of people who get to participate. If everyone were limited to 4 (or the number of season tickets they had), the large donors and long-term would still get tickets, but they wouldn’t be the only ones getting tickets.
3. Regardless of what plan is followed, strive for consistency for 3-5 years. Constant change leads to confusion and frustration. (Yes, with the ever-changing landscape of collegiate athletics you have to pivot from time to time), but this single game ticket process is something that could be consistent from year to year. If it is consistent and everyone knows the rules of how they are allotted, it’s a better situation for all and they can adjust accordingly to position themselves as needed. Same thing goes for parking. Make it easy and transparent. (Again, there are less spaces available this year), but lay out the forecast/plan for the next few years and you’ll have happier and more willing donors.

I agree on the number of tickets. Should consider a tier system based on expected demand for the game. For UNC and EasyU, maybe 4 should have been the max....then allow 8 to 10 for all other home games. For an away game like Wyoming....maybe you go higher than 4 since that stadium does not typically sell out versus A&M that has a pretty strong fan base... maybe limit to 4 or 6.
From an IT perspective, not sure how hard to set up for online ticket sales.

Not perfect as some will complain that they give $25k to $50k annually (whatever the amount) and believe they should be able to buy as many as possible before anyone else...no system will appease everyone.

From a personal perspective.....In the grand scheme of things, this is a great problem to have. We have faithful fans that want to support App. I feel this will help getting good matchups on the road (if P5s are not skirrrred to play us) as they know we show up.

Ah - sadly, no longer available.

Obviously wouldn't be of interest to all our fans, but I always go to UNC-Miami with some buddies, so I'd have been willing to buy one more at this point rather than take my chances with public sale on the App game.

Very good points. Allow me to give respond to each one.

1. NASCAR is an interesting comparison. I respectfully feel that it is irrelevant to this situation as professional sports and G5 level revenue streams are just too different.

2. I don’t disagree. Specifically when it comes to selling extra tickets to home games. Allowing STHs first crack is short sided and seems like a missed opportunity to gather new STH. After some thought, this piece seems to go with your NASCAR analogy. Non season ticket holders who are in Yosef Club should probably go first. This creates both goodwill and an understanding that they may not be able to get season tickets now but their commitment to the YC is valued and here is your reward. I would limit it to 2-4 tickets per account though. Away game tickets should be a 1 for 1. (1 ticket for each ST you possess).

3. I agree with this 1000%. Well said. There is too much misinterpretation and miscommunication of the process along the staff for the patrons to get a clear understanding of the intent.

I was there when Connor Barth hit the game winner as time expired. The place went nuts.

What if we used an “OR” system?

Day 2 could have been donors that gave $3,500 this year OR a top 100 MAF/YC member.

Day 3 $2,500 OR top 200 members.

Day 4 $1,000 OR top 500 members.

Outside of any system limitations, that could work. I’d be curious how many $1000 donors there could be in the top 500.

That would be good along with a lower # of single game tickets being allowed.

94, I doubt many. The above likely doesn’t have a huge impact on the days, but the perception would be better. Of course someone would still be unhappy.

Does anyone know what time the ECU tickets sold out? As much as I hated 130/4 tickets I am proud of App for taking the money instead of allowing scalpers to get the extra money. I would never have believed I would pay 130 bucks for a college football game.

Twitter seems to think they’ll be temporary bleachers in the NEZ for ECU, may be another chance.

Yes. Bleachers are supposed to be installed for the GW and ECU games.
