This won't make any highlight reels on national news, but this is a huge win for us!

What an exciting finish to our Sun Belt opener. Big win over a stAte team that was on a 4 game winning streak! Kostic with 11 big points off the bench. That has to give us a much needed boost after the close loses.

1-0 in the Belt. :D :D :D

Tremendous way to start conference play. A lot of errors...turnovers...missed layups...missed dunks...and mediocre free throw shooting--and still got the come-from-behind road win. Frosh Apps Milos Kostic and Jake Babic come up BIG in this one.

I like it.

We just might be on to something here with coach Fox. Big game in Boone Monday night. Let's support this team.

go watch this team play! they deserve our support. they're playing their butts off with few fans...imagine how they'll play when we pack the house. Jim Fox was a great hire.

Nice interview with Milos. Seems like a level headed guy that is my type of player.

13 for 14 front the free throw line is FAR from mediocre. Especially in this day and age. Probably won the game for us.

That was A State not us.

Incredible comeback!

Kostic very articulate on post-game show. Impressive on the playing floor and impressive with a microphone in his face.

Can't wait for the Ragin Cajuns in HCC Monday PM. We owe them big-time for a loss they laid on us in VG during the Apke era.

We need a big student turn-out to support their team.

Bitches love a great off the bench effort.

Of course this only makes sense if your dogs are female. Otherwise ignore.

Sounds like a potential program-building win. Congrats to the team for a great comeback on the road.

First day of class isn't until next Monday the 12th, so a great student turnover in unlikely. However those of us who will be there will make noise.

Next home game after this is on the 15th versus the same Arky State team, then a massive home game that Saturday versus Georgia State.

Don't ya know that Coach Maravich was all smiles up in Heaven as a fellow, native Serb led the Apps to this win. Coach recruited a bunch of Serb players in his day. :D

As I said in my prediction post, this team has backbone and will compete til the end. Coach Fox has this team believing. At Charlotte one of the strong points of our game was free throws. I believe that App has a very exciting season ahead, but that's my opinion, only time will tell.

So true! Press became coach my senior year and I well remember the infusion of Vuckovich, Milosovich, and others of Serbian descent.
