We are kinda in "dam if we do, dam if we don't situation", if the weather is as bad as predicted, the recruits might give us a pass on low attendance, but aren't going to love watching a game in a blizzard, but if the weather holds off, and the game is played in decent weather, they are going to look up in the stands and wonder where all the fans are.
Agreed. I am a student and the weather is still going to be in the 50's today. Even if the weather cools off, we will likely have no more than 1-2 " of accumulating snow. I do not understand how that keeps people away.

Last few years students have been bashed on this board for their lack of attendance and leaving games early. This year they are making our attendance look a lot better and sound a lot better than it really is.

Many of the same people that are not coming tomorrow are the same ones who complain about how App closes more often for snow now.

I don't know of any other school that has more than half of their entire undergraduate body present for every home football game. How people would criticize our student section is beyond me. It's one of the best in the country.

This needs to be restated.

I agree our student support is great but I don't think App is alone. I know Clemson has more than half of their undergraduates there for every home game.

Apps always had a great student following, I was there from 85-89 when we only had a total of 12-15 thousand fans a game, even during those lean years we still had 4-5 thousand students every game
