Surely you aren't comparing our basketball "tradition" to our football tradition? If Fox is able to show anything positive he will be adored. The mindset of the football fanbase is entirely different.

MMB member KiddBrewer suggested this...You shouldn't play with a neck brace? I completely agree. Practice just started and one of our toughest hombres (Mike Kobani...see far left in pic) is already wearing a neck brace. Anyone know what's happened to him? How did he get injured and how serious is it? If healthy, he should be a force for us this season. He'll have some talented help for those down-low post battles.

What gets you in the green? I thought it might be 80%, but one player with 80% isn't green and the team total of 82% isn't green either. I can live with a team average of 82% with no problem!

For all the focus on football moving FCS -> FBS, I'm not sure the jump in level of competition won't be similar or even greater in basketball. Combine that with the fact that we were one of the worst teams in the nation last year, and yes, patience will be required.

Let's just say if you have to be banned from the postseason, this is a good year to do it.
