I voted for the 30,000-31 and change. Which is always impressive! Go Apps!

I voted for "record breaking" attendance because: 1) I'm an optimist, 2) I've been called a "RAH-RAH" fan, and 3) GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Come on Apps, we can do this! I know my eight seats will be filled!

I voted for 25k to 30k. But, I think 30k+ would be very possible.
The reason I went with the 25-30 number is because I think we'd need more than those two games to really energize the casual fans (and those are the people who show up when we tip over 30k).
Now, a winning streak through September and October?
With good weather, those early November games could set records.

I concur. If we win the next two, weather permitting, we will break records...SRO as far as the fire marshals allow.luvyosef wrote:I voted for the 30,000-31 and change. Which is always impressive! Go Apps!

Weather dependent unfortunately. Approach a new record with nice weather, 22-25 with rain.

IF and that is a BIG IF, we win the next 2 games, look for all time record breaking our 32000 plus against the Cullowhee Kittens a few years back.

I think it all will depend on the game time.
This 12 day window will take some getting used to.

100% agree. Night game and for those that travel 3 hours + one way it just about automatically turns into a weekend trip vs a day trip. That alone could steer some folks away, especially given the wide TV/internet availability of our games now.TurfMonkey wrote:I think it all will depend on the game time.

I concur. The problem some us have is that there are a limited number of affordable rooms in Boone. A couple times we have had to stay in N Wilkesboro or Lenoir (but it was worth it). The room we booked for Homecoming was booked in July. If anyone decides to purchase the tickets I have, I will try to arrange for the buyer to "take over" the room for the Friday and Saturday nights. If I don't sell the tickets by the week of the game, I will mail them back to the ticket office.AppDawg wrote:100% agree. Rooms are getting pretty expensive, so if we go up for the weekend instead of one night we have found some pretty decent deals through VRBO.

Thanks. We tried that route for a couple Thanksgivings when there was the whole extended family, but it has to be an extremely good deal to make it worth it for just 3. We'll keep it in mind, though.appbud wrote:Rooms are getting pretty expensive, so if we go up for the weekend instead of one night we have found some pretty decent deals through VRBO.
