Yeah was not a thing of beauty, of course Coach Hoke said the practice before the line and backs were good - so never can tell I guess.ASUMountaineer wrote:Yeah, my buddy (UM grad) told me the "OL couldn't block the cast of Glee." Quite the indictment.
But UM's DC did not hold back (though obviouslly neither squad showed everything andd were pretty vanilla) and brought constant pressure, the D will definitely yhave to be the hero early on.

It's freaking fanfest. Who cares?
Not all have been complaints, some of the posts on this thread are just some thoughts and suggestions. The AD staff are wise not to post here, but I know they read the comments. I see nothing wrong with wanting something to be improved

Not sure I understand? Are you asking who is winning the position, or how is Devin Gardner looking?

Well I think he is still getting used to the Nuss offense, and he is jekyl and hyde. When under pressure he is still doing some bad retreats with his back to the LOS, but he is throwing it away now - which I know sounds bad but is good in comparison to the sack or pick. He will be the starter I have no doubt, and can hurt an opponent with his arms and legs...heck his yards per game were better than Braxton Miller's last year. The question is can he make smart decisions this year.WVAPPeer wrote:Both - but more about how Gardner is looking? ---

Poooo on that, the New Michigan offense is simple and the new OC will go back to Old UM football.SKWDCOP wrote:Well I think he is still getting used to the Nuss offense, and he is jekyl and hyde. first down RUN,
Second down, RUN
Third Down, Run
and then UM will throw a few passes to the All american WR
Re: Fanfest
Well of course we are going to try and run, and against your smaller (at least in quantity) win the war of attrition. But if they cannot runblock which has been a problem then Devin will be self-creating and passing a lot.PhillyApp1 wrote: Poooo on that, the New Michigan offense is simple and the new OC will go back to Old UM football.
