No clue ands that's a great question. Hopefully they've made a call to him. Unfortunately, we know the facilities battle. That is a big chunk of money.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 11:54 amAre those guys more likely to give one time gifts versus annual investments? Maybe take a dollar or two from Football.
A couple of us are trying to set up a call with Kermit to see where we can assist/gauge needs.
The program has had a few guys that made some decent money over the past 10-15 years playing professionally. Could be a start. There might be enough interest now to take advantage of a solid past few years.
I'm not sure baseball needs "life changing" money though to compete annually. Just $100k could go a long way. Shoot, maybe $50k? I honestly have no idea what our current NIL budget is.
Arrowood played some solid years and made some decent money.
Jaylin Davis bounced between levels for 8 years.
A couple guys currently doing well in the minors.
Crespo probably making good money. Marcello still involved in baseball.
There are other baseball alumni that do well for themselves that we could tap into. A lot in Med Sales, Cheerwine family lineage, custom home builders...etc. Pretty sure a current players family is a bulk of the donations right now too, ha.
