The list of visitors for today appears to be eight. Four of the visitors are commits. Three others hold offers from App. Add App commit OL/DL Tobias Edge-Campbell (6′ 2″ 295) of Hoke County High School in Raeford, NC as number seven (in case anyone is counting that's all three of our current OL commits and one more OL offer). And the eighth is Rivals 2 star and 24/7 3 star DB Kiante Walton (6' 0" 195) of Carver High School in Columbus, GA. Walton does not currently hold an offer from App and is a Ga Sou commit. I will add him to the Considering App section of the Main Page but I'm going to go ahead and link a player page with video for him as I expect an offer will come. You don't normally take an official visit to a school unless you hold or expect an offer since you only get five officials.

As you can tell he's likes to run between the tackles but can easily go outside when needed. But he is a tailback and did not come from a TO offense in HS. His style seems to fit more with the spread. Not normally the type of back Ga Sou usually goes after. But he is very good so my guess is they would shirt him a year to get used to the TO offense. Time will tell but he could pick up another BCS offer closer to home and that would make all this a moot point.

I don't think he would have any trouble there. When I first looked at his film he reminded me of Collins and Nunn from last year. I also like the fact that we got him over Ark St and WKU. If we get our #@&*#^% S & C program up to par we can add 25 lbs or more to all three of our 6' 5" guys. They have the frame for it. And Edge-Campbell is already right at 300. As predicted official visitor from Saturday DB Kiante Walton (6' 0" 195) of Carver High School in Columbus, GA has received an offer from App (I think it was there all along but the sites just hadn't picked it up). I have moved him from the Considering App section to the Reported Offers section on the Main Page. I already built a player page with video for him and it's linked. As I posted earlier he is a Rivals 2 star and 24/7 3 star and a current Ga Sou commit. He is showing additional reported offers from Ga. St, Jax. St, USA, Southern Miss, Troy, and Vandy.

Thanks Moose for another awesome job. We all owe you a big debt of thanks for your tireless work. It's been amazing how much info you are getting compared to a couple of years ago. It looks like this recruiting season we are getting all we need. I really like the Herrod kid at rb. Like him a lot ... he adds something we don't have at that position ... bulk and speed. I think he would extend Cox's playing life too. Really hope we get him. Thanks again Moose.
