It seems that our bowl game was a success. Appalachian and Georgia Southern have both attracted professional quarterback sons. The two schools must be doing something right.

Webb is a legit RB, if he can stay healthy. Got hurt in 2024 (broken tibia) and never saw the field in 2025 because he had surgery for a recurring hamstring issue. UF people say he is healthy and ready to go. He already graduated from UF (in 3 years) and was a two-time SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll so we know he is pretty smart. This could be a huge get if he can just stay healthy.

Does anyone know how many spots we have left open given TP losses, TP adds, HS recruiting adds. Where we are in terms of roster limit or preferred roster limit?

My best guess, without diving too deep into it, is that we have at least 20 spots left.

Quick math:
Departing Seniors - 20+
HS adds - 27
Portal losses - 37
Portal adds - 11

A lot of progress has been made on this number, with portal adds now up to 27 as well, matching the high school figure.

My best guess is about 7-10 spots remaining that will be divided up between :
- 1 big framed WR
- 2 running backs? We lost 4 and have only added 1 so far. We did not add a freshman here, so that could still be an option after the portal for a summer arrival.
- Another QB? We lost 4 and have only added 3 so far through the portal and HS.
- Edge. Maybe two?
- 2-3 OL/DL - these are the most difficult at this stage, but I would hope for at least 1 of each.
- Another LB?

I believe we could be good on secondary and tight end at this stage, but I know we are still in contact with at least 1 high performing FCS DB.

Fla RB Treyaun Webb signs w App St per On3

Most every post on this is that he’s good but been injured it seems. He visited FSU a few days ago.

3 headed monster. Webb is good.

Gator fan social media posts refer to him being good .. several cannot believe he selected App..St.
Could be a great pickup for App. St.
Hopefully we pick up more OL to create holes for all of our RBs

If I recall correctly, he was committed to Georgia at one point. But, they always have a crowded backfield so I think he flipped on signing day.

Let's hope he can stay on the field. Thus far that's not his track record.
