QB out of Upperman

Has anybody seen Bronzdon Chaffin play? Listed as a 6’4” 230 lb. QB out of Upperman High School in Baxter TN who has left high school for early enrollment at Appalachian State. That’s a big guy for a QB. He’s a finalist for TN Mr. Football.

He has/had a teammate at Upperman, Ty Cobb, who has signed to play basketball at Liberty. Wish we could get him. As a listed junior (?) playing in the Arby’s Classic this week, he has scored 48 and 48 in his two games (against good competition, too) shooting 30/35 from the field (6/6 from 3, and 30/30 from the line. That’s incredible. In 38 years of coaching high school basketball I’ve never seen as impressive of a stat line as that. We played twice in the Arby’s Classic - they always have some outstanding teams. Makes Cobb’s stats even more impressive. We could use a guy that shoots 30/30 at the foul line.

Current Tennessee High student here, The Classic always has some really good teams. I got to saw him play a couple days ago, he looked really good. Bet we could flip his commit

Cobb looked confident on the court and was able to go just about anywhere with the ball pretty effortlessly.

As for the QB I’ve only seen his stats and stuff. Looks like a good sized dual threat qb. 6’4 235 pounds and he ran for over 1300 yards this season. Not to mention 2100+ passing yards
