Nah, he just does a better job of being objective than most of the ESPN "broadcasters/homers" across the Sun Belt.

Our guys go out of their way to be objective in calling the game. Please come back to this comment when we play at Marshall in Bball this year. That was by far the most homer broadcast I’ve heard on ESPN+

I'm assuming that's directed at the original poster, however you are correct. Jackson and crew do a fine job and are not only fair, but well polished compared to the other schmos across our conference. Actually feels like a professional broadcast.

Their fans really don’t know anything. We have them to thank for hammering uncc spread down to 5 or 6 though that made it free money on the football game

They were talking about how much better financed their football team was over the summer and some uncc insider had to correct them. I have no doubt they spend more on their basketball team than us though

One final thought...the officiating crew for App/UNCC last night was solid.
It was a physical game, but they let the kids play while calling the a really good game.
