I’m surprised this game isn’t already a sellout. Weather looks to be fantastic. A check of the seating chart shows about 110 seats left. Should sellout at some point this week.

I totally get why we play at 3:30 and I'm there every home game. It serves the greater good and all. I'm just not keen on the time I get home.Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 13, 2025 3:36 pmOur 3:30 start time has been explained before. A large portion of our fan base travels up the mountain from Greensboro and Charlotte. Young families need time to get the early morning kids sports games in and still be able to make it to Boone. Then they need the game over in time to get the kids home and in bed before they melt down. So unless tv dictates the game time it will be 3:30. Keep in mind that “TV” doesn’t care about the stuff on ESPN3. So unless we are on a network we will play at 3:30.

Coastal is better than GA State.... I think they are also better than the Oregon St team we played. This will be a tough one for us....

Coastal is an enigma to me. Barely beats Charleston Southern. Gets waxed by ODU., Virginia and EasyU
Beats So. Ala and Monroe
I do not believe they are better than OSU.. just my opinion

Maybe, but not by much. This will only be a tough game for App if App plays like garbage. If they play like they did against GA State, I think they win by just as much, especially with a homecoming crowd behind them.

They'll comp those tickets sometime later this week and declare it a sellout.Lowcountry App wrote: ↑Mon Oct 13, 2025 4:54 pmI’m surprised this game isn’t already a sellout. Over the years watching Coastal play before they play us, I say we are better, but in recent we've lost more than we've won.
Same scenario this year, I think this is our year to win, we'll see Saturday.

Looking at Coastal's game vs ULM
They had 286yds rushing but only 92yds passing (1 throw was for 37yds from a WR)
QB Collier was the leading rusher with 86yds and the only rushing TD

Hard to put much stock in the passing numbers. The game was played in driving rain.

They are talking about one of their QBs being hurt. Not sure if that could help or hurt.
Coastal didn't have a sack, ULM had 2.

IF we stay away from turnovers and red zone penalties we roll. Did anyone notice that our first scores against OSU were the 1st this season without red zone penalties and that continued against GaSt? Just saying….

Only 3 Ps last week I believe.. and one was on the interception return by us for TD.. so nullified... That is an outstanding improvement.
Hopefully, we continue the trend.

It was raining so hard at that game that when I turned it on I thought there was something wrong with teh cameras...It looked miserable
For some reason the comercials were showing when they went to break so you got a shot of the stadium from the open endzone and there were fans still there oddly enough...You could also hear the PA encouraging people to go get some of the free food LOL

They are averaging under 15 points per game, 131 yards passing per game and 289 yards of offense. No longer the McCall era
