Im not in love with Barnes so far
I see it differently. He's a playmaker. Just needs a bit of time to adjust to playing up a level and seeing that he cant get away with some of the over running stuff he did in FCS.
Agree. I’ll own a knee jerk post

Any one else find it odd that a head coach is wearing a hat with their conference logo instead of their own team on national television in their home city?

Man ...love DLo.....If we can get better execution......this man can call some plays.
Not trying to give anyone a hard time here, but it only been 1 half. Promising start, though.

Do you think it is us or this is typical Charlotte football? Or a bit of both. I like our tempo on offense and D is coming through when needed. Not perfect on penalties but seemed to have settled down.

So, after 1 half we have a...........QB1, RB1, WR1, Kicker and a heck of a defense. Not too shabby!

I was going to post that very question after I made my last post. I noticed it immediately.

I am thinking it might be a AC branding issue. Will be curious if other head coaches do this. Did ECU do this at NC State?

Minus one bonehead play, that was best half of App football I’ve seen in years.

Complementary football
Defense is in gaps
Coach is on top of clock management and plays are in quick
Barnes is a star
Swann is better than Brice

Only takes one half to realize the upgrade that this staff is over last. Not being mean, just glaringly obvious regardless of the result.

I do not think ECU did it last night. I watched the game and would have noticed it. Weird at best, missed brand repping opportunity at worst.

I think you can clearly tell that we made a major upgrade with this coaching staff. These guys look prepared. Night and day difference. From last year

True; Coach Harrell wore an ECU hat. Maybe it’s because CLT’s coach is a rookie and he’s being forced to take one for the team conference?

Agree on all above. Minimal mistakes, a costly one but big difference so far. A confident team already. Need blood and determination this year please!

The tempo on offense is great. Quick play calls. Looks more like the App offense of old.
