I’m in Myrtle Beach Beach for a “travel ball” baseball tournament. Until now, I never realized what an advantage CCU has over every other college that fields a baseball team. The Myrtle Beach sports complex draws hundreds (if not thousands) of the best future college players every year. Spring, summer and fall. And it’s just down the street from CCU.

Anyone know the payout to the conference teams if they win? Or is that a thing?

The short answer is no. There is not a payout to participating schools or to the players “ aligning with other non-revenue sports and with concept of amateurism.” Man, is that laughable or what. That was from Google AI…. A little out of date, don’t you think? Although it does go to how much football rules the roost. It did say that there is indirect revenue share but no numbers.
