We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Present is a great play by play man on the BB broadcasts. Especially good with no color man. Does it very well by himself. If Witten does not return it should be Present 100%.
He sounds like Jerry Seinfeld
I used to agree with you, and then noticed it a lot less in this years baseball season. I dont know if its the sport, or he changed his delivery at all.
Either way, agreed that he does a tremendous job and should have a shot at the football job. I dont think he does basketball solo by choice, i think its just the reality of finding and paying someone good that he works well with and its easier to just do it alone. I dont think he would have any problem with an analyst or sideline reporter for football. he did the sideline stuff this year, so i bet he has a pretty good sense of the rhythm of it

I like Present but something about his voice just seems unnatural to me compared to Witten. It’s hard to explain. He would be a natural transition though.

Been very fortunate with Jackson and Witten.
Hopefully, we can keep the standard as we know what it could be by listening to other teams commentators from time to time.
Although our camera setups and other technology may not have been as good as some other schools, one could live with it given those two guys. Hope we can keep the standard going forward. Good luck to whomever it will be.

Fortunate is an understatement. When you turn on ESPN+ with any other Sun Belt school that Appalachian plays the announcers for the most part are not that good. Take for example, The Troy Hail Marry pass call. You could tell that they had done radio because they were used to describing the action on the radio. With the ESPN+ broadcast they helped you understand everything you were seeing.

Also if Matt gets PxP and Brandon Turner does not return to color do you think they ask David Ware who has done away game sidelines to elevate up to color? Just a thought

Everyone would turn off their radio at that point. David loves to hear himself speak too much.

Ha, y'all are a tough crowd. David's a good guy who IMO does a good job with his site and on the air. My guess, though, is radio will probably stick with the time-honored formula of a professional broadcaster on PbP and a former App player on color.

If we are looking for an all-new combo, I would suggest Noah Hannon on color if he was interested. Didn’t he do some fill-in duties at once?

He did. I believe it was the year after he graduated. From what I heard, he was pretty green, understandably. Tended to talk about the players like his buddies (which, of course, they were) rather than a team he was covering. Perhaps the additional distance of being a few years removed would help him.
Edit: Looks like Noah has a pretty good financial services gig in Charlotte. Might not be interested in getting back into broadcasting at this point.
