Can't disagree. Everyone of those players looked the part. I know there are still 2 games left in the series but there's a big discrepancy between the top 3 teams and the rest of the league.

If they would have pulled him earlier around 50 pitches, theoretically he could be available, but I doubt they’d do that unless we completely run out of arms. They let him linger a bit down 6-0, threw about 15 extra pitches.

Will need him for next week more than we need him out of the pen this week.

Bats have come out early and try to get an early lead…. be aggressive on the base paths… move runners over…. make them make some plays. Pitchers keep the ball away from the fat part of the bat… whether that’s in tight or out an away. Really have to play well defensively…. don’t be a hero… hit the cutoffs and give them a chance to make a play.

i'm a little uneducated with baseball...but i just don't understand right now...i know its 2 on with 2 outs top of the 3rd....but Best is looking pretty good...why are we pulling him out in this situation? i know they said to get him through 3 complete innings but...seems like he was on a little bit of roll

We hurt ourselves too often in games: walks, HBP, errors, catcher interference etc.. Add those things to poor pitching, well, you get a .500 club at best.
