Little gets a strike out to end the frame but ODU gets a 2 out rally for 3 runs to regain the lead 5-4 heading to the bottom of the 4th.

Throwing error by their 3rd baseman gives us a runner on second with 2 outs. Time to make them pay for that mistake.

Baseball is such a fun sport, you really never know what will happen. Wild pitch and our catcher can't locate the ball so the ODU guy on third takes off for home. Problem is that we find the ball when he is about 25 feet from the plate, he puts on the brakes and gets into a pickle that we execute properly for the third out as he tries for home. Time to get some runs as their starter is done and the relief guys are on.

Liam Best in to pitch the 8th. 12th appearance of season. I assume we are looking for him to finish it out. Our pitching has been good thus far this series so we have available arms if needed. Hopefully he can hold them and our offense can pick up a couple runs over the final two innings.

Luft with single to left for his 3rd hit of the day. They try to pick him off and throw past the bag allowing Luft to take second. Runner in scoring position with 1 out.

I see Luft and Lichtenberger, both freshmen, are both from Boca Raton although different high schools. Does anyone know if they played travel ball together? They must have at least known of each other as Boca isn't that big and game knows game.
