Finally a spring game

Looking over the spring roster and the WR room has some solid height to it this year. WR & RB look deep. Also feel like the QB room is deep but I cant help but wonder if the loser of the Kohl/Swann QB1 battle leaves after spring ball.

I wonder if a winner will be announced. UNC did not announce a winner in the spring the year Drake won starting position so as to keep the backup. They did not until week of first game.
If I am DLo, I am not announcing until the end of Fall camp.

Some big P4's are probably done with Spring games. Too much poaching and opportunities for kids to shine and dip into the portal. Along with risk of injuries and losing practice time.
Don't think that will happen at our level as much, but it could.

I would be shocked to high heavens if Wiles is QB1. Good guy, good backup.

There’s a different level of intensity and attention to detail with this staff. Or maybe it’s just spring and I’m buying into the hype.

There definitely is. The part about not hiring friends, but the best coach was mentioned several times. Not a coincidence either. Dowell truly believes we have the best possible staff in the building and I believe him. Choo choo!! All aboard the CDL train.

I am cautiously optimistic for sure. They do have more of an attention to detail it appears and I feel like this staff is an upgrade. Loggains has a better grasp on what is needed to win in this era because of his background. What matters most is the games though so we will see but I do think he has done well in the off-season.
