What happened to our crowds from last year? I know we're not the same team, but we're still in the hunt for the SBC. Locals and students need to support them better.

Just my opinion- probably wrong….
1. We lost 10 guys, some star power. Some that people fell in love with are no longer here. That might hurt the fan base with constant roster turnover.
2. We were a borderline NCAA bubble team all of last year (we almost didnt need to win the Belt to make the tourney). Being in a 1 bid league probably keeps some fans at home since an NCAA birth doesn’t really happen until March.
3. Weird thought, but the football finish and coaching change kinda drug into basketball and morale was down across the entire fanbase.
