The great debate of the state of North Carolina, which is better Eastern Style or Lexington BBQ, Whole Hog or Shoulders, Vinegar or Ketchup, the state of North Carolina cannot agree on what is the official BBQ of North Carolina. No wonder this board cannot agree on anything.

I got a hot dog, my brother had to call the trip short. It is south of Flat Rock. On 278, 1/3 of the way from Travelers Rest to Brevard. The BBQ in Flat Rock is good.

I misspoke and clarified myself. I meant all styles are good. You can certainly make bad BBQ. There's a place down the street from me that makes some aggressively mediocre BBQ. But it's Georgia, BBQ ain't their thing.

However, when it comes to food, I'll try just about anything once.
