We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I disagree; bad BBQ is not good at all. I have eaten some BBQ that was so bad you felt as though you were eating a house fire.
It’s nothing a little sauce can’t fix.
Sauce can’t fix that dreck they serve east of Greensboro. Or cover the mustard taste in South Cackilacky.
ENC is better than WNC. I said what I said. :D
If good BBQ, no sauce required. And, I agree, ENC better than WNC...but will give Lexington a thumbs up...
The red slaw they serve with WNCQ is top notch.

Too bad we don't still have the "thumbs down" button because that is a terrible take.
To be fair, I’m from the eastern side of the state and I grew up on Parker’s and Wilbur’s when visiting relatives.

That makes sense, you've simply been brainwashed by exposure. On a similar note, I grew up in Hawaii (until I was 11.5) and Spam is really popular there so I grew up eating it and loving it. When I moved to Florida in 7th grade, I quickly realized that Spam did not enjoy the popularity that it does on the islands. I still love the stuff but my wife and adult kids all look at me odd every time I make it. We just can't help liking what we grew up eating, even if it is objectively not as good as we subjectively think it is.

I’d move to Hawaii for the chocolate covered macadamia nut alone.

I don’t dislike WNC que. It’s fine.

"TeamClark" posts were never about the program, I'm insulted of how ignorant you would have to believe the posters are here to type those words.

2025 is year one of a process, buckle up.
Be insulted all you want, #TeamClark was under appreciated when those post began, I was always, along with a few on here, agreed and understood the hardships that Clark had to go through as a coach, and the man went 40-24, 3-1 in Bowl games ,4 ranked wins, not too shabby body of work, underachieved this year for sure.

Case in point #1 -

Clark didn't get a Spring practice his first year as head coach due to a Bill Gates Pandemic.

Coach DL will have a spring season. Good for him.
Surely with such a resume Clark will get another head coaching job then, right?
I would say depends on what his family wants to do, I think his oldest starts HS next Fall...a lot of factors with young lives in the home.

These abrupt changes aren't easy on the young ones. Be kind.
No one forced him into the industry that he chose. Jesus Christ, you guys act like he’s a fallen soldier. He and his family will be just fine.

Fuzzy’s was so good when I was a kid. Dad worked in Madison so we ate there a lot. Ate there about 10 years ago and it wasn’t the same.

I worked at Hursey’s in Burlington between App and grad school. Lots of good free food.

For the sauce, it’s only good if vinegar based. None of that tomato crap.

Let me rephrase. BBQ is like music. Different people prefer different styles. However, all styles are good when they are made well. If you claim one style is superior and one is inferior, it's just because you don't have an open enough mind to appreciate different styles.

Threads here remind me of the old 5 degrees of separation Kevin Bacon game. Takes about 4 replies completely irrelevant from a given topic to bring up bbq.

Probably why he took a pay cut to leave South Carolina.
