We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Some are going to hold DL to a different standard than they held Clark to and we will remember your hypocrisy.

His first 4 games Charlotte, Boise State, Non D1 and Oregon State --
Since it was always a slight against us, Lindenwood is D1.

It’s just so weird to me how personal some folks took a football coach moving to a new job after a year. Such a small time look.
If he did not before, he understands now how brutely honest we can be. This is a school made up of real people that do not handle B.S. very well.

I think if most fans felt like he fit in at App, they would have accepted it more. Love week, for example, turned people against him.

And vice versa. For some people, it's all about being able to say, "I told you!".

Drink's response to "hate week" the week before the GS game. Drink thought App culture was over emphasizing the importance of that game. He miscalculated and the weather sucked that Thursday night's house of horrors.

And Drink had the team stay in Hickory the Wednesday night before that Thursday home game.

That day has scarred so many people that they were willing to endure more mediocre Clark seasons rather than swing for the fences with another outsider.

Also the Love Week discourse came after Drink left. Those who were his biggest supporters felt burned by him.

Whenever you feel like you have been burned, it is hard to trust those feelings again.

Thinking back to introduction press conference no one mentioned our rivals. That is pretty cool to know that our rivals are not in our heads like we may be in the heads of people who consider us their rivals.

The "love week" thing was logical in my mind and a good approach (in theory).
We all know that you throw the records and rankings out in rivalry games. There have been many upsets in that series. This rivalry phenomenon presents risk to the undefeated team and opportunity to the underdog. By downplaying that factor, you could potentially mitigate that risk.

However, it sounds like it wasn't executed properly. Staying in Hickory was probably a step too far.

Nine days later, he completed the Carolina sweep. Anybody else would’ve been forgiven.

This doesn’t apply to everyone, but a lot of the Clark fanatics were also against the FBS move. Like I said, it’s not 100 percent, but there’s a correlation.

I believe everyone thought it would be the Wofford Halloween Game 2.0.

DL was on Full Ride this morning. Great interview, lots of enthusiasm, talked about the question of tenure...I'm sold on this guy. Wants to be here and not looking for the first ride out of Boone. Loved his love for his first coach, Houston Nutt and how he wants to relate like that to his players.

Just saw USC’s backup QB just hit the portal. Pretty big recruit out of HS. Wonder if Coach is in contact?

No thanks. Don’t want a QB who couldn’t keep a starting job on an overhyped program that finished 6-6

He’s talking about south Carolina’s backup QB who would have learned under Loggains, not southern Cal’s
