All of his children that we know of are coaching. They have no reason to follow him to UNC to putz around for 4 years until UNC gets rid of him or he gets caught half naked at a sorority party.

Many already wanted him gone after last season. The JMU game wasn't the final straw. Losing all those conference games was the final straw. That team could have lost to JMU and still been 9-3 keeping the Gtech and Pitt losses. So the decision was mostly made before the season started. The season just gave them more ammo.

Attendance wise, they averaged over 47k for a 50k stadium. They dropped 3k in attendance this year but that is not an attendance problem, that is just people waiting to see who the next coach would be knowing Mack was gone.
