We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Just thinking. If Clark is retained as HC will there be any type of public verification from the athletic department or will things just roll on as if there was never a thought of replacing him? I would expect if he is retained that nothing would be mentioned and things would go on as normal at the end of a season. Maybe an end of season press conference where he states that all of our goals are ahead of us for next year?

Great question. Recent trends would suggest nothing formal if he stays. Now if certain staffing moves are made then that could be an indication that he isn’t leaving.appfanjj wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 1:37 pmJust thinking. Wonder if SC and DG have had any serious conversations about what the future of the program looks like? Future meaning next two games and next year?AppSt94 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 1:45 pmGreat question. Recent trends would suggest nothing formal if he stays. Hard to say. There has probably been conversations but one the entails the vision is likely to occur after the season and National Signing Day.appfanjj wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:00 pmWonder if SC and DG have had any serious conversations about what the future of the program looks like? This is likely to ruffle some feathers but I get the feeling that there are more pressing matters that are garnering the attention of the powers that be. I’m not saying that conversations and thoughts aren’t happening, but the school needs a full-time Chancellor and I suspect that is priority one.

Hope that whoever becomes the new chancellor fully understands the full value of the football program to the university at large.

The disaster insurance bit was fascinating to me. Bit surprised we only just got it this summer after 2018.

He seems to answer the mid season firing question.

It's amazing DG was able to make any comments because Glenn loves to hear himself talk. That, and Glenn's penchant for dropping teasers throughout the shows for segments that end up being uninteresting are why I stopped listening to him years ago.

Re: I am with you Coach Clark
If App hires a new coach, they just got more expensive. Texas State's GJ Kinne got a 7-year, $2 million a year extension.

We’re going to be stuck with Clark now, aren’t we?
No chance Kinne lasts 7 years at Tx St (p4 jump). But maybe for $2M/year, no reason to rush out of there.

Re: I am with you Coach Clark
We don't have to pay 2M a year I don't think. There are really good FCS coaches and some good G5 coordinators that will take these jobs for less than that.

During the money conversation Doug said we have money on par with our peer universities.
