Pretty decent first half of the first game of the season. I’m gonna have to get used to all these new names.
I’m still surprised at how much more fun it is to watch Kerns’ teams than any other teams since I’ve been an App fan.

We still don't have any consistent 3 point shooting, at this point. Impressed with the 2 freshmen big men, hate to see our starting center go down so early in the game. Marcus & Wilson were the only newcomers to show me something tonight. I think we'll get better as we get more time to play together.

A lot of room for that. We weren’t sharp and I know it’s the first game but it’s the first one for both. They looked better all the way around. Disappointing.

I have a feeling DK was leaning a lot on Njock bringing it on offense and has had to take a hard turn after that injury. It's always hard to tell the future from one game, but I think this team is low right now but has a really high ceiling. Give this crew 5 to 7 games to gel and find their places in the rotation/offense and I think we will be fine. You can still win a lot of college games without living and dying by the 3. It's not the nba.
