Glad we got the win.

Here’s what I saw. The pass rush continued improving, the run defense is still terrible.

Our run game was productive and seems to be improving along with the line.

We beat a 4-4 team to get to 4-4.

I’ll keep cheering because I love App, but I just can’t get too excited about the current state of the program.

Hoping for better days one way or the other.

Go App!

Yep. Very true but we are sore losers.
Winners hate to lose.
We are spoiled and we don't have our legendary loud crowd anymore.
You are so full of crap. How the hell would you know if our crowd was loud today. The crowd was great today and last week.
I have not missed a game in the past 20 years. Either in person, on TV, streaming, or radio. 99% of the time, I can hear the crowd loud and clear on the radio even drowning out the announcers on big plays. First half today almost nothing. Second half a bit better and loud bursts at times. Most notable was booing ref calls. I may, as you say, be full of crap (I wouldn't be alone on this board though). But on this, I'm not. Even the announcers kept saying we need the crowd to get into the game. Know what you are talking about or STFU.
Turn your hearing aids up...... I could hear the crowd on both the radio and TV broadcast. Maybe you should look into the hearing aids that Bluetooth to your TV.

I was convinced, at the beginning of the game, that there was a bet between Clark, Sloan, Joey, and the defense as to who could cost us the game. We were finally able to unconsummate ourselves and pull out the win. The team didn't give up, especially the defense.

If you heard the crowd loud in the first half, you were freaking hallucinating. End of discussion.

You must have been sitting right in the middle of loud section drowning out the silence of the rest of the stadium. lol

Second half looked as close to App football as I’ve seen this year. Run blocking looked good, may have something to do with running one back most of the game (novel I know). Pass rush looked as good as it has all year once we wore them down.

Best win of the season.

It was plenty loud especially when it needed to be. Sign of a sophisticated crowd!

Good win. We made plays when we had to and got it done. Still alot of issues to resolve before I say we are “ a good football team “.

Ahmani finished hard down the stretch. Would love for him to be the feature back. The environment was good there today.

Yes. It so sad we do not have a better in-game experience from the press box. Just think what it could be given out strong student attendance....It is actually not that hard ...

And the App./State cheer when Kanye was on the ground being attended by our medical team ..good grief...

I think we only had 2 healthy backs to start the game. So that probably had something to do the the lack of a rotation.

I know, we were forced to implement a sound strategy.

I enjoyed it.

They were 3-1 in SBC play and boat raced GS last week. I'm pretty happy to walk out of KBS with a W over that team, especially considering how we looked just a few weeks ago. Sad thing is we should like be on a three game winning streak if UL has a camera on the other side of the stadium.

Another solid win. And what looks like another second half turnaround.

My observations:

OL/DL play is improving

LB’s sans Harrington are not nearly as athletic as in the past. We need a talent upgrade here the most.

Marshall is our best back and needs the majority of the carries. I like Roberts, but he’s not as durable.

WR’s are our best position group. Just need to give Joey time and have him avoid bad decisions.

Weather was beautiful!!

So let me get this straight…App won a tough game yesterday. They now sit at .500 for the season. Game day weather was amazing and Charles the Lion Dog made an appearance.

All of that good stuff went down yesterday, but we’re arguing over the noise level from the crowd and if they were engaged?

OK.
