Question?

Unread post by 3rd » Thu Oct 31, 2013 5:41 pm

One of my friends at App just texted me saying the student run talk show just said our basketball team got throttled by Gardner Webb in a controlled scrimmage last weekend. Anyone got any info on this? Appheel?

1) No media is allowed at these scrimmages, so take that for what it is worth.

2) Total scores can not be kept and reported per NCAA.

3) Form personal experiences, there is know way to declare a W/L from this. They might play 1 20 min full scrimmage but most of the time it is set up as situational games, alot of times with the teams split in 2. They may have heard that we got beat by 15 in one of the games but we may have started the drill as a setup of down 20 with 10 min left.

It may have been a football nut trying to say that football isn't the only on struggling.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Okay thanks for the update...I was just looking for information out there because it was referenced on the talk show but I couldn't find a score or state sheet so thanks for clarifying.
