It's for future years. Gillin added that the next four years of home schedules will be really good.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I did not think we would add one but in the ULL review article on 247 it said 6 more games so it made me wonder if we did add someone this year.

Some people have to worry about more than just going 1-0 next week.

True. I couldn’t care less about future schedules right now.
Anyway, had dinner last night with family members who attended NCSU, ECU & App. We had a great conversation but interestingly, college football wasn’t discussed much

Hate we are at this point. I don’t like discussing coaching options but this would be the home run hire IMO. Young, hungry, pretty big name, offense is fun. However, doubt we can afford him.

Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
doesn't he make $2MM+? We're definitely not going to be there. The question is- does he see a way to get a top level P4 job better as a top G5 coach or as Clemson OC.appstate24 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:25 amHate we are at this point. Used to be that it would be proving he can win at a G5 over being a top OC. But I think thats changed and being an elite OC is now better than being a top G5 coach.

I agree, only hope is probably if he wants to prove himself. I looked it up, Google says $1.75 mill. May be more with bonuses….translation, A guy can dreamBallantyneApp wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 8:44 amdoesn't he make $2MM+? We're definitely not going to be there. Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
Well, count me as at least one person who's still interested to hear about future schedules.
In the past, I might have agreed with the "safe to play" comments. But that's not really how college sports work anymore. How good you are one year doesn't necessarily predict how good you'll be the next.

Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
I will say that Gillin could probably use an injection of excitement for future schedules, because with the team down this year, there's not much besides Boise in '27 that will excite most fans. (All due respect to Toledo, who's a good program, but I just don't think they'll drive many ticket sales in Boone.)

The Boise away trip will be fun next year. That's a bucket list for a lot of college football fans.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 9:01 amI will say that Gillin could probably use an injection of excitement for future schedules, because with the team down this year, there's not much besides Boise in '27 that will excite most fans. And the future schedule announcement will be a great environment in Boone next year and a similar type Boise trip for the away trip out west.
2 great additions in the immediate near term.

Home and home west coast school. Waiting on signed contract last I heard. Before hurricane. Hopefully it’s done.

It's probably a a 2-1 with two games played at Diablo Valley College.

So I guess everyone here is basically doing the 20 questions thing hinting that it's Oregon State without just saying it, correct?

Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
Good to see solid G5 programs like this (Wash St or OR St), Boise and Toledo on the docket.
I like signing H&H with any PAC/MWC hybrid, but that isn't going to move the needle on season tickets, Boise should though.

Re: Future scheduling announcements soon
Just to clarify, I was referring to home schedules. I think between the program falling off and State backing out, we could be looking at a season ticket sales dropoff without some significant home additions. Agree the @Boise game will be a big deal.311neers wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 10:05 amThe Boise away trip will be fun next year.
