It only took 2-3 years for JMU to be the leader of the Sun Belt and we are in the bottom half.
Up 25-13 on UNC…
It helps when your athletic budget is twice that of any other conference member and one of the highest in all of the G5.

We’ve got to pony up and fire him.
Look at the rest of the Sun Belt. Marshall hanging tough. JMU rolling. South Alabama destroyed us. Coastal is good. UL hanging with Tulane. Texas State…etc.

We will end up like NC State of we keep this up.
Feel free to stroke that check with your own funds then.

You don't think they will just cancel?

Now looking like cancelling:

9:15 PM UPDATE: The latest news is this, per Pirate officials: ECU and Liberty are hopeful of finding a window to play around 10:30 and before 11 pm. If the game does not start by 11 o'clock, it will likely be canceled. No hotels are available in the area for ECU to stay.
9:00 PM UPDATE: Still no update as of 9 o'clock ET. The future radar does not look promising. But both sides continue to wait things out for now. Other options, such as playing Sunday, could eventually be on the table if this goes deeper into the night.

I’m seeing way too much loser mentality after 4 games, 2 tough ones and less than 3 days to get ready for SoAla.
Save all the vitriol for a season postmortem. And we aren’t buying out anyone before the season ends.
We could have had 2 months to get ready for Southern Alabama and it wouldn’t have mattered. They have much better players. So much being made of the short week. The guys who play for us aren’t 50 year old men who need 2 weeks to recover from a long golf weekend. They are 20 year old guys who have trainers and nutritionist to help them recover. If we lost by a score and showed signs of fatigue in the 4th qtr I might say the short week played a role, but we got curb stomped from the get go. It amazes me how some folks can look straight at something and not see it or pretend not to see it. We have failed to recruit the players we need to compete.
You are 100% correct. All this wealth of talent is a myth.

Talent , is a product of recruiting. A responsibility of the coaching staff. Player development. Same. Players execute, or don’t. Coaches hold them accountable. Or don’t.

ULM is outmatched but very physical and aggressive in the trenches.

I’d prefer Liberty to win so we have a chance to knock off a 4-0 team. Need all the help we can get.

Had ECU winning this one. There isn’t any amount of help we’ll get I’m afraid.

McCall leaving field on a stretcher, no movement yet. Big Big hit. Praying he is okay, very scary stuff. His helmet came off and he got popped.

Poor guy honestly had no business playing after being abused by chadwell.

Hate it for him he was a good player but he needs to retire NOW.
