Had a couple folks back out after last night and sold two for $165 each this morning. The algo may not have adjusted yet.

We will get a chance to have some hope or brace for impact after Liberty and ECU play this weekend.

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
You didn't ask, but I think the RB rotation that the coaching staff insists on is the problem. Since no back is the "feature" back, none of them ever really get to develop. So, you just end up with 3 decent RBs but none that are real game breakers. In my non-professional opinion, Kanye has the most potential, shiftiness, and speed, so he should be the feature back. Marshall can spell him and bring in Castle for goal line, 3-short, extra blocking, etc.ah59396 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 9:16 amSpeaking just on the RB’s. I'm going to say something is going to get me a lot of heat and a lot of hate. But the three running backs we got are not as good as y'all think they are.
Neither is our QB.
I will say in terms of effort, which as a team was a joke last night, our RBs all ran HARD. Kanye took some big hits and kept working, Castle was Castle, Marshall & Haywood ran their butts off. So I want to give them credit on a day where there’s not a lot to go around.
But none of them are particularly dynamic or game breakers like the guys mentioned above. And it’s really limiting what we can do as an offense.
Again, not a coach, don't know anything, just my opinion.

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
thats one of my main concerns about the staff in general. I've literally never seen Castle break a tackle laterally. He excels when he has enough time to gather a load of steam and run over people. Kanye can make guys miss. why we are throwing 3rd down screen plays to castle was crazymaking. Maybe Castle makes our guys miss, but as we saw last night, thats not that difficult.MrCraig wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:56 amYou didn't ask, but I think the RB rotation that the coaching staff insists on is the problem. Does anyone know what it would cost to buy Clark out today and December 6?

Yeah I can’t help but laugh. Good for them. They came in here, took our lunch money, dunked our heads in the toilet, and the most we could muster was a “thanks for coming by”.yosef69 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 11:39 amThis is what happens when the mighty fall. I don't have an answer but I also noticed that and thought it was a weird change. I didn't feel like bringing it up though because we've got bigger fish to fry haha

They made that change last year. I don't mind it because so many teams use the bells on third down, but it annoys me that App uses the bells sometimes and then the siren other times and then something else sometimes too. Just pick one and stick with it.

I mean, I get what he's saying. But the coaches recruited the players and coach the players and motivate the players...BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 11:29 amMeech

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
Yep it frustrates me because if you change stuff every year you never build a tradition. Went to the UGA game several years back and watched 90% of the crowd do pretty much everything in unison. Really cool. We seem to change things week by week.MrCraig wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 12:23 pmThey made that change last year. Re: Moving on to South Alabama
It just seems so obvious, who brought the players to the program. I blame everyone involved for what happened last night but the head coach takes most of the blame.MrCraig wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 12:24 pmI mean, I get what he's saying. Re: Moving on to South Alabama
Is anything being done to fix it? We keep getting all these excuses, but nothing changes on the field. Does anyone in Boone believe there is really a problem? I seriously do not know right now.

Hearing our largest donor was not overly concerned at the BOT meeting today.

Re: Moving on to South Alabama
Back in the Spring, when the Chanslor stepped down, there was a topic about that. I can't find that thread anymore, but I seem to remember a few people saying that Clark must be relieved. Maybe she knew there was a problem.
