I heard this from half a dozen circle of excellence members the back half of last year through various tailgate and in-game conversations and that was echoed by others on this board this offseason.
I'm afraid they will be proven correct, but not is the sense they thought.

Re: 2024 is the year
I remember telling it on here that I was hearing it from several people in those circles. I have pretty much learned to completely ignore anyone in the circle of excellence.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 9:50 amI heard this from half a dozen circle of excellence members the back half of last year through various tailgate and in-game conversations and that was echoed by others on this board this offseason.

Where would we be without our student support?
It seems that every game the students fill 50%+ of the stadium. Meaning if it's 28,000, the students make up 14-15k of that number.
West side concourse looked okay, but not full. East side was the same thing.
How will the stadium look when students don't show up...we might find out soon.

I suspect that most of this type of misinformation comes from the Jack Branch offices.

The students will be the last to not show up. The canary in the coal mine are the alumi that make the trip up the mountain.311neers wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:04 amWhere would we be without our student support?

Correct. Part of my student tenure was 2003/04-2004/05 when we were an exceptionally mediocre FCS team winning 6 & 7 games a season. We still showed up in droves and had fun.fjblair wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 12:04 pmThe students will be the last to not show up. Lucky for me it got a lot more fun the latter half of my time there.

That’s what we were sold. I’ve not gotten the refund offer as of yet. I suppose though that our goals are still in front of us.
