I would try to at least get a field goal before half time

For those pining for the “good ol’ days,” Drink was down 21-3 to Boston College in the first half, and Satt’s Bearcats didn’t exactly manhandle Miami-Ohio.
Those teams dont have a winning tradition like us. And youd have to be a mad man to choose shawn clark over either of those guys

I love these threads early in the game. World starts to end for some of you way too early.

Eventually? We just lost 66-20 to Clemson!

Feel like the old panthers. Get into red zone and kick a field goal

Our guys need some confidence. Ass whopping last week took a bunch of wind from their sails. 1st quarter this one hasn't helped. I'm tempering my expectations for the season

Yes last week was not an eventual situation, so reinforces my thoughts on the game plan.

After the start, nice way to finish the half. Should be up but let’s come back out in the 2nd half and dominate. Defense really settled down.

I have said many times why don’t teams kick off like that more? Find a gap and kick the crap out of it on the ground? Hard to pick up and organize a return

Trending in the right direction. Almost 300 yards and 19 mins of TOP. Get the run game going and keep everything in front of us on defense and we can win.

Alright! Settling in, good stuff. Get the ball to start 2nd half and we can go up. That cheap shot on Hughes was BS though. I hope that motivates the team.

I wonder why he wasn’t allowed to kick off? Any thoughts?

Last 20 minutes we were clearly the better team. Why do we start so slow, especially following that beating last week.

we gave up a pick 6. They caught us on one pass for td. Either one of those doesn't happen, good chance we are leading.

We have turned momentum a good bit. Come out hot and we can get the lead and put the pressure on them.

That was a terrible no-call. Should have been a 15 yard unsportsmanlike, even if Hughes was playing it up a bit. The Ref was right there. And then our staff gets a warning. That some AAC BS there.
