I always hated people pretending it didn’t happen. It did. It was pathetic at the time and still pales in comparison to how how pathetic of a performance this program put on the field tonight

Perhaps one of the best AppState football nights I've ever had in my life. Then had late night dinner at Huddle.House and Jerry and his wife were behind us in line. Got to talk to him for a bit.

We have a chance...But....we will have to bring everything we have to not get blown out. Do not underestimate them. If we have a slow start, it's going to get ugly fast. They are still a good college team. GA is just on another level right now as a program. Dabo is an evangelical preacher in that locker room, and he will have them baptized in hell, fire, and brimstone, ready to rip off heads and exorcise demons when they run out on that field. His seat is getting a little hotter right now as they have been on a subtle decline since their chip and then 4-4 conference last year. Their donors will be getting antsy. It's going to be a great game if our O-line can get some of the same pockets they gave Joey in this first game. We just have to say a prayer for our defense because even good defenses get burned by good plays.

Damn, I'm never talking about a game before it's played again.

On the bright side, ND was upset, NCSU got dog walked, and Dion got his teeth kicked in, so no one will care about the team that was expected to lose. I've said it 100 times leading into this season.....just win the conference....period....everything else is a sideshow.

But we haven't won the conference since 2019. The conference has gotten better since then. We haven't. Plan and simple, we have not gotten better.

That has been my point. Nothing else matters right now except getting back to where we can win the conference again. All the rest of this stuff is a side show. So many threads talking about playoffs and P5 games and blah blah blah. Just get back to winning the conference.
