I was rooting for WCU but I also don’t think this game was indicative of NC State’s season. We saw last year how the favorites can have issues when meshing new players, a new QB, going against an innovative FCS offensive game plan, etc. there were also a few other factors working against State with the delay and losing their LB early.

If Tennessee is favored by double digits next week, I’m taking NC State ATS.

Coastal up 24-3. Guess they are better than expected.

Coastal over Jax State was a shocker. Vasko looks good & Jax State is suppose to be a top CUSA team. The question is now, is Coastal good or is the CUSA just bad? Or both? My bias would say the CUSA sucks (which we already knew). I am more confident against Liberty, but I didn’t anticipate Coastal to be good. They certainly looked good tonight.

Jax State being favored was likely cause bettors saw Coastal didn't have McCall anymore, not realizing he didn't play half of last season.

At times the Chants were running at will on Jax State. A thorough butt kicking that was worse than the score indicated.

I didn't watch Coastal on purpose, every time I do early in the season and see them struggle, I say to myself we shouldn't have any problem when we play them, however it turns out to be a mighty struggle to eeek out a win against them or they beat us. Hate to hear they are off to a better-than-expected start. I'll stick with my plan and not follow them, maybe with better results for us. No, I'm not superstitious - lol

McCall threw so many bad balls behind/infront of open WRs, that timing can be fixed. But he’s a step slower and that isn’t going to change. Chodewell broke that guy.

Not to take away from the Coastal performance but Jax St just looked out of sync all night on offense. Two INTs and four fumbles, (only 1 lost) can kill any chance of gaining some momentum. I think that Coastal is good, Jax St is better than they showed. We shall see.

Colorado faking an injury to stop the clock, clowns.

I saw that too. All because NDSU was ready to snap the ball and Colorado's players were on the sideline. Colorado only won because they have FBS depth and probably more pure talent. NDSU was very clearly the more well-coached team. If they don't play better defense and get better O-line play, Colorado is looking at another 4 win season.
