Boyd needs a breather-little slump right now. Easter break will be good for him to rest and recover. Good thing is, next man up with this lineup.

We were sitting in the stands talking about this. He is pressing and having everyone else hitting has to be frustrating. Would sitting him down be a good thing for him psychologically?

Wouldn’t sit him, but since we’re up 15, maybe give someone else an at bat or 2 across the whole board. And then he gets 3-4 days break until mid week next week to re-group. Can you tell if it’s injury related? Seems to be moving okay, but he could be playing thru something. He had that hard slide head first against Coastal that could be part of it.

To my untrained eyes he looks very indecisive with his commitment to swing.

You are correct sir. Swinging at stuff he never chases. He’s a stud, he will be back soon. Maybe hits out of it today, who knows.

To be fair, he looks mechanically correct. He looks like he either can’t load, or is late to load. Now what I don’t know is if it started with an injury but it is definitely mental at this point.

Yes. Ticket prices vary from GA to premium seating (terrace, picnic and fire pit). Prices are more if purchased day of.

Kermit's success in the portal for bats has been outstanding the past few years. I wish we had an NIL deal for Xander Hamilton to return. Makes you think we would be close to a postseason team if we had him this year.

I am still hoping we are a post season team this year, but it would have been sweet if we still had Hamilton on the mound.
