Doesn't look like it. Going to be a long weekend if not. Selfishly we only want to schedule games with Espn+ bandwith.

5 and 6 walk and hit by pitch.
7 8 and 9 all strikeout…

2 guys get on no out, and we don’t even move them over. Need to manufacture some runs.

And again.
5 and 6 get on with no outs.
7 8 and 9 strikeout sac bunt strikeout.

The Salukis Friday night guy has pretty good stuff but noticing a trend at the bottom of the order.

Big win for the Diamond Apps. Rally from 3-0, 4-1 & 6-4 to win 9-6. Pitching seemed improved today, but 3 errors on the day. Top 5 in the lineup are raking, but we got work to do from 6-9. Tuthill with the feel good story so far this season. Quality win and nice close out inning by Lewis with the 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th!
You hit it on the head Butch. Have to figure out 6th thru 9 in the order.

Pain! 3rd time tonight we’ve gotten 2 guys on no outs and not moved them over at all. 5-5 B8. Play small ball Kermit!

Let that one get away, that hurts.
L 7-5. Had way too many guys on base to not move them over and get them in. Need to win 2 now.

Analytics say no to small ball. My big gut and the runs you produce from small ball say YES.

Generally I agree with you - I was always a proponent of moving guys with runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. The caveat was who the next 3 batters were - I didn't see or follow the game yesterday so I'm not aware of who they were. It is almost impossible to not move the runners over with a decent bunt - get it down but not at the pitcher. I always told the guys to shoot for the baselines - if it goes foul, it's just a strike - just not back where the pitcher can make an easy play and a decent bunt down toward 3rd base makes the 3rd baseman make a decision - Charge or stay back --- More than once my team actually ended up with bases loaded.

2 of the times it was 5 and 6 guys on- 7,8,9 all struck out. Those should have been small ball all day especially with the game close.

The 3rd time was 8-9 got on- 1, 2 and 3 popped up and struck out.

Long season but that was a win we let get away. When there’s ducks on the pond in a close game and in later innings, get them over and get them in. And we may have tried but just couldn’t get a bunt down or make contact.

Wow - no offense meant to coach because he knows his players - but to me it makes no sense

Kermit already using small ball today. Runner on 1st and the bunt goes for a single. Two on with no outs in the 2nd.

And we may have tried, but without it on tv, can’t really know. We just didn’t execute. Wilson showed promise yesterday. This SIU team can hit! Just gotta win today and fight tomorrow.

1st & 2nd nobody out, then fly out, walk to load bases, and double play to end it.
