I wonder how this season will affect our scheduling going forward. Maybe eliminate or reduce the D2 games and parlay Auburn coming in into getting another high major to come in.

Beating Auburn on national television may actually make any high majors reticent to come to Boone.

As if they weren’t already? Mid major status will always hurt our scheduling more than one win.

If nothing else maybe it’ll get us consideration for better early season tournaments and maybe relationships and deals can be struck from there.

That would certainly be a positive result.

App is in the best place it could be and many schools would like to be in the Sun Belt Conference right now.

Although it does not matter as we will need to win tournament to get in, however UNCW beat Drexel last night to move into first in CAA. Drexel was in first place. Not sure who has tiebreaker in CAA. However, that win is looking better as the year goes along even though UNCW may not be a high quad win ...but it does mean we may have beaten another conference champion if they keep winning.

We will have to win the tournament to get in, but we still need good performances from our non-conference opponents to improve our seed line should we win. Being a 12 over a 13 or 14 would look awfully good.

There is going to be one more realignment in college football....I hope we make one of the M2s. It is going to be the p2, m2 and g(whatever). We have to make the M2 somehow. If not, it is going to be a tough climb from the g level in everything.

Agreed. It is possible for us to be in second tier and we have to do it. We really need to have a huge year this fall.
