About 10 years ago, I stopped watching pregame shows involving “experts” prognosticating about sporting events; it adds little to the games for me and it’s a waste of time. I didn’t even watch CGD when they visited Boone.

But I do read news/articles on the ESPN app and I’m constantly bombarded by pop-up video players with this clown McAfee jawboning about one thing or another. I don’t watch the videos, but this Brian Bosworth wannabe shows up everywhere.

Its becoming less about the issue and much more about their whining at this point . . . not a good look. Shut up and move on. I feel for the state of VA if this is what their lawmakers are spending their time on.
What in the hell is wrong with their Governor? At least the NC Governor fights for his Holes.
He went to Rice.

Absolutly nothing wrong with him. He is paying attention to the peoples business. JMU football is far from the peoples business.

Exactly. Without turning this into politics I'm good with the things he's done for the Commonwealth. No need to insert into sports beyond being a fan.

James Madison won't sue NCAA to receive bowl eligibility

Looks like our victory put a damper on their legal appeal:

James Madison lost to Appalachian State 26-23 on Saturday, ending its perfect season. In its statement Tuesday, the school said that loss "changed the landscape in terms of the nature and timing of our legal options, including the diminished viability of a lawsuit against the NCAA."

I'm wondering if the let down from last week if JMU will be motivated enough to beat Coastal. Will see if Cignetti can bring them around. I'm sure deep down they don't feel like they have anything to play for. Coastal will definitely be prepared.
All we need to do is take care of business. The rest is out of our hands. Beat the Stink!

Let’s focus on being 8-4 to end the year. Because quite honestly, there were more than a few of you that didn’t think that this was possible 4 weeks ago.

You're right.... I gave us ZERO chance to be 8-4. If anyone says that they had 100% faith we would be 8-4, they are lying (even DoftE). Don't kid yourself. But Im glad we are at 7-4 with a chance to be 8-4. Awesome turnaround!

Nah, this is the Eff JMU thread. We’ll focus on being 8-4 in the Hate Week thread. 😀

I did after the Marshall win, even posted it here several times. Well, I said we would win out (which would make us 8-4). I didn't exactly say we would be 8-4. The team just looked different in the Marshall game. Now, of course, I am an eternal App optimist so me saying we will win out isn't much of a stretch for me. Could also be why I am dead last in the prediction thread.

The crazy thing is I believed back in the summer we would be 8-4 but I thought we would beat CCU and ODU with losses to JMU and GSU this month but just like he said I thought after the ODU and CCU games that we had zero change at 8-4. I was thinking 6-6 but I am glad the staff made changes and the team has looked different. I firmly believe if the team we have put on the field the last 3 weeks could replay Wyoming, ODU, CCU, and UNC that they would win those games now.
