We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Just saw he was waived this morning. Also cut a Josh Thomas. Was he the App guy?

Camerun Peoples, the App State product didn't see his first carry until last night which resulted in a fumble that was recovered by the Lions. He was also involved in the controversial play near the end of the game where the officials ruled that he fumbled the ball through the back of the end zone.

Everyone expected it. The question is will he try play in a secondary league? I don’t know if he loves football enough.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:15 amJust saw he was waived this morning. Also cut a Josh Thomas. Was he the App guy?

Agreed. Then he abandoned the team late in the year and had a massive ego. I don’t think he loves the game. He just loves attention. It is very sad because he had so much promise.

Hate to assume or pile on but the eyeball test said he just wasn't fully invested. Had flashes of excellence to include that bowl game but overall it just looked like he didn't want to be on the field.

Probably no need for a psychoanalysis of the young man. I realize we all have our opinions of his time at App. But, I see no need to demonize him.

Yeah I always felt he wanted the fame but didn’t want to earn it with work. I wish him well in his actual career though. Hope he gets a degree if he doesn’t have it already.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 2:23 pmHate to assume or pile on but the eyeball test said he just wasn't fully invested. Just telling the truth. He could have been special but no surprise he got cut based on how he was at App.hapapp wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 2:59 pmProbably no need for a psychoanalysis of the young man. I realize we all have our opinions of his time at App. But, I see no need to demonize him.

Re: Will we see Peoples tonight?
Exactly. Got to have desire and heart.
Very sad to see for him to get cut. He has heart as a runner but his heart isn’t in it to block and that showed on film in preseason.

Re: Will we see Peoples tonight?
Not at all. A lot of it is heart, mental, or toughness. That is the difference between making it and getting cut in many instances. So many good players who just never made a NFL roster because they did not want it bad enough.

Cam will be tailgating in Boone this weekend. For those that said he had no heart, please feel free to stop by where he is tailgating and let him know in person.

Nobody said he didn’t have heart I don’t believe? I believe it has been said he simply made what he thought was a good business decision not to play the last couple weeks. His issue was he struggled in preseason. Hopefully he is given another shot and he does better.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 4:15 pmCam will be tailgating in Boone this weekend. I am not surprised he is coming to the game. Even if he was on a roster he could still attend this weekend for sure. I wonder how many other players who were just in training camps that might show up.

There is literally a post on this page that says that.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 12:15 amNobody said he didn’t have heart I don’t believe?
