I'd like to see us be unpreditcable on offense, Elliott kows how to stop us.

Re: PEOPLES
Saw him Mountaineer Walk. #6 looked good. There appeared to be no mobility issues, and he was bouncing and high 5ing everyone.

IMO, John Settle was the most physical back to play for ASU. My cousin played LB the Citadel in the mid 80's and was good size, about 230 lbs. Said hitting Settle was not a pleasant experience.

Re: PEOPLES
If y'all are going to talk raw athletic ability from a powerful RB you can't leave out Cadet. We didn't use him full time at RB but he managed a 7 year NFL career as a bench RB. 6-1 215 and could move quite well.

Re: PEOPLES
I would put his raw ability right there just behind Peoples. He certainly showed it in the pros. I wish he had been healthier in college.

Cadet was a JuCo kid. We only had him for 4 or 5 semesters but he could deliver savage hits when healthy.

Re: PEOPLES
Time for us to stop the rotation bullshit. Cam is rb1 and Noel is rb2. Time to ride your main horse. He showed tonight why.

Re: PEOPLES
I couldn't agree more. Ride Cam, use Nate for change of pace when Cam needs a breather. I have no issue with Nate and Chop rotating with Cam on limited basis when Cam needs rest but not the way we do it now.

Re: PEOPLES
Cadet would be called a PORTAL kid today.
If I recall correctly, he came from a MAC school that SS was coaching? Cadet nearly brought us a victory at ECU with his play. He had a decent NFL stint too.

We've known Cam has been the man all along.
I want to see Kanye Roberts run again in 3 more games before this season ends, preferably against some good competition

And Nick Chubb has Kareem Hunt and they play every other drive to stay rested and be stronger in the 4th quarter.

Re: PEOPLES
Whenever the camera gets a shot of Cam on the sideline he just looks like he absolutely loves being there. Someone pointed out how he congratulated CB on the easy TD (that he could have also scored easily). I had commented that Chop looked upset after he got rotated out near the endzone. Its absolutely a team game and situations often don't allow for guys to get theirs so to speak. True team players should be ready to make the play when their number is called.

Re: PEOPLES
I 100% agree about great players being team-first guys, but I also can understand Harrington's frustrations. Dude was on a tear and in rhythm, 3 yards away from a touchdown, and they took him out of the game. Now, what we DIDN'T see is how he behaved once he was on the sideline and in the locker room. If he continued to pout and whine and be frustrated instead of happy his team was winning, he needs an attitude adjustment.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 6:24 amWhenever the camera gets a shot of Cam on the sideline he just looks like he absolutely loves being there. This just in… Cam is THAT DUDE.
Heck of a performance last night. Put the team on his back at point, and turned the game completely around. Great job 6!

Re: PEOPLES
Chop was upset b/c that guy wants it. He's been here 6 years and wants it. He didn't want to let someone else get the TD for his work. The RB rotation is there for a reason but damn let the guy have his TD from the 3 yard line instead of letting Cam or Brice have it.MrCraig wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 6:47 amI 100% agree about great players being team-first guys, but I also can understand Harrington's frustrations.
