I've been taking my dog on walks through campus when there's a break and the students are gone. I think the last time was over Easter, and honestly the mall seemed kind of tired. The grass was patchy and some of the stone and brick seemed like it needed a refresh.

Never really cared for the whole area near the dining hall either. It's bland.

I'm sure it'll look fine packed with thousands of folks this weekend.

I agree with all the cupcake posts on this thread so far, but hopefully there are a bunch of huge cupcake cutouts and signs referring to it so Herbstreit can't escape it!

This is what I want to see. Too many baked cupcakes may piss Herby off enough to make him really hate us and continue to badmouth/belittle us

I wonder if it is an employee of ESPN and the Boone date was up within hours. It is an amazing website. There is a game where you get a starting article and have to find the links to the second article in about 90 seconds. I did one going from the Beatles to bird flight or something like that.

He talked about it on Monday. On yesterday's show Neuheisel told him he should absolutely do it and Childers said his wife was up for the trip. Sounds like he made the decision to do it.

I don't know when Neuheisel was in Boone, but he was very complimentary of Boone and Western North Carolina. It'll be fun hearing Childers' take on Boone. He's never been here before.

They are on XM channel 84 every morning at 9AM. Talk nothing but college sports. It’s the ESPNU channel. Love listening to them.
