No one is putting anyone into a “fire” camp. Just trying to explain that while wins are the goal and to a degree, expected, it doesn’t always work out and there are always layers to why things happen the way they do. AppStateNews explained the nuances of our 3-4 defense perfectly. It is an extremely effective defense when run perfectly. Unfortunately, when you have new guys out there working with each other, there will be inconsistencies until they work out the kinks. And until that happens, minuscule errors are noticeable because everything works off the other.

The same can be said for our OL play. When run correctly, it is virtually impossible to beat consistently. But one guy missing one key can make it look disjointed.

I'm not questioning fans opinions about games and I have had great discussions with many over the years. I have a hard time understanding how someone who has never played or coached has a real understanding of the dynamics of a locker room and all that takes place out of the eyes of the fans.
