We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

MBB @ Little Rock, Weds 2/23 7pm
App 17-12 vs Little Rock 8-16.
Guard Isaiah Palemro is the player to watch. He scores 12 per game. App is still playing stingy defense. We score 67 and give up 62. Little Rock scores 67 but gives up 73. Ww beat them 72-57 at home back on January 29th.
Matchup predictor gives App an 82% chance to win and will be on ESPN+.
App currently sits at 2nd place conference. A win over either LR or Arkansas State (Friday) clinches a top 4 spot and a first round conference tournament bye.

Re: MBB @ Little Rock, Weds 2/23 7pm
Little Rock got hit with COVID hard, but not hard enough to cancel games. They won a multi-OT game against UTA where student managers had to dress out and they finished with only 5 eligible players after 2-3 fouled out.
They beat Troy at Troy two weeks ago, so they got something.
App has never won at both Little Rock and Arkansas State in the same season. Time for that to change.

Up 40-32 at the half. Almonacy is on fire. Little Rock may have 75 people in attendance. One of LR players lost a tooth. And, that’s one sad looking Casino they’re running ads for. If you end up in that place then you’ve hit rock bottom.

Good 1st half, especially offensively. Would like to see us up the defensive pressure in 2nd half & get this win, holding on as #2 seed, going into the regular season finale Friday.

Good win! Not that I’m complaining but I don’t understand why some teams don’t foul the hell out of us down the stretch. We’ve shown we absolutely suck from the line.

Feels good to get two dominating wins in a row. Having Mike take point and take the pressure off Justin it gives Justin Forrest so much more leeway to create and it’s been fun to watch

I'm going to have nightmares about Arkansas casinos but we played well on both ends getting the win so I suppose it's worth it.I think this locked up a bye to Saturday which is huge.Texas State tried to give it away to South Allie but the Jags wouldn't take it.

I heard one of their guys might have got the first triple-double in their program history. Any truth to that?

Re: MBB @ Little Rock, Weds 2/23 7pm
I seem to recall a few college games where a team was so bad from the line that the opposing coach purposely put them in the bonus early- did NC State do that to Houston back in ‘83? It would be a huge gamble and the other team would need to use bench players to accumulate the fouls, and of course after 10 it’s 2 shots. We have had a few games where there were so few fouls called against our opponent that by the time the game reached the 4:00 or so mark they had to rack up the fouls but generally didn’t. Nobody has really tried to force us to win games relatively early in the second half.
