Beer "windows" are taking ZERO spots that existed as standard concessions previously. All beer locations are added spots/kiosks/open air spaces that had previously not been used for hot-line food vending. Some spots (like the main beer area on the East Side) are located where previous food vendors had kiosks (like pizza and pies) but those have simply been relocated and not lost.NewApp wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 2:47 amHad beer not been added, more windows for sodas and hot dogs could have been used.appbio91 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 1:14 amBeer has no impact whatsoever on soda lineAppStateNews wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 4:58 pmT&F facility is almost complete...NewApp wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 4:08 pmPersonally, I think we should forget about expansion until we find the money to create or finish the 105 track facility and find the money to field a Men's Soccer Team and also find away to make the soccer/track facility easily accessibel 105 is a nightmare to get on and off it. I don't expect anyone to agree as I'm one of the few who value a T&F program/facility as well as Soccer as much as I do giving up the KBS track and adding more seating and arguably frills to KBS. Heck we added beer concessions without giving a thought to not creating long/longer lines for people trying simply to get sodas and hot dogs. Progress has its pros and cons, but Geez. Re: KBS Expansion?
I wouldn’t suggest taking nearly the whole hill for recent grads. But I would really like to find a way to keep them coming back. If you think about it one season their in the student section and the next their thrown in with the adults. What I’m suggesting is a little transition area.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 9:16 pmPrior to this year, thought your idea on you g alumni may be good idea. My thoughts have changed....if we have the student support like we had this year (Miller Hill) full of students, I would like to keep for students.

P2 - Locker Rooms
P3a - Tennis Courts (Since the stadium courts were taken for athletics parking)
P3b - Indoor Tennis Fac
P4 - New Softball Field (Hopefully before they kick them out to expand the Sofield)
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Re: KBS Expansion?
That can be solved with one thing that no one wants to do but will have to be done one of these days, drop and rebuild the west stands.

I was hoping that with the new endzone building that some additional ground floor space in the Athletics Center would become new bathrooms.

Re: KBS Expansion?
Cobb screwed up when he didn't do this and built the Athletics Center so far away from the field. The West side should have been rebuilt in style of the East side; not the other way around. The West is bad all the way around. Cobb is BAD at stadium design; ie GaSt/Turner Field football.

Re: KBS Expansion?
This exactly. The only way to make the stadium somewhat symmetrical is to rebuild the west side. As I understand it, code has changed enough that the west side would not be allowed today, due to spacing. That could be incorrect, as I read it on this board years ago.HighlandsApp wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 9:48 amCobb screwed up when he didn't do this and built the Athletics Center so far away from the field. Re: KBS Expansion?
Could be. If I recall, the code change meant that the complex could not be attached to the stands. Doing so would have necessitated tearing down the West side.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 10:47 amThis exactly.
