The only way Georgia Southern will beat us is dragging us down into their cesspool. So far we appear to have joined them in the dump.

Don’t forget all bets are off in a rivalry game.
We’re one half in. If we were leading 7-0 against LaLa, would you feel the same way?
Again, rivalry games have a way to get sideways regardless of W’s and L’s.

Held them scoreless at half. We need points out the gate coming back. Missed opportunities on offense has kept it closer than would like. Not looking ahead to next week but a flat offense against Cajuns will come home with a L. Also need a sustained drive starting the 3rd. Defense needs to sit a while.

Play calling not that bad. Choice of backs to run those plays is not good. Passing would actually open up more with Peoples in. Harrington they don't have much video to practice on. Noel to small for short yardage plays.

We are playing with fire. They are trying to control the clock and limit our touches. So far they are doing pretty good. We have to score when we get the ball, be more efficient.
On offense they are pretty good against the run, but are terrible against the pass. We should pass more.
On defense we have. To do a better job of stopping them on first and second down. Third and long is our friend.
If we can get up by a couple more scores they will have to take more chances and can't eat up clock.

It feels like 2019 minus the rain. We used 2 timeouts to ice a kicker but couldn’t use one to set up a 4th and 1 in the red zone?
